Selenite description
Selenite is a very purifying stone, it gives you peace and makes you listen to your intuition. Selenite is often used to cleanse or charge other stones, it is very good for this. It also purifies the space where it is placed. It makes one cheerful and its beautiful shine makes it very nice to look at as well. It is related to the gypsum family this makes it an almost precious stone. Selenite cannot be made wet because of this, it dissolves in water.
You can find this stone in many shapes and sizes. From towers to spheres or hearts, and much more. Characteristic of this stone is its beautiful shine. If you have raw selenite it may have small fibers coming off of it. Selenite is sometimes dyed in other colors and then sold as "cat's eye" or sometimes even "tiger's eye". This is still a real stone but dyed.
